Peculiar Paraphernalia (a peek into the contents...
In every industry, there are distinct tools-of-the-trade: A doctor has his stethoscope and white coat. A carpenter has his hammers, nails, tape measure and the like. A convenience store clerk has his keys, time card, and the customary shotgun under the counter, of course. Well have you ever wondered what’s hidden beneath the typical? What the doctor has in the pockets of that white coat, or...

Stripper Wages
i work at the lamp lighter in st paul. aparently its the law and its going to be put in place all across the country. It pretty much sucks… they raised our shift fees $8 an hour to cover the $7.25 that they have to pay us, and then the government takes taxes out. So basically we lose somewhere in the neighborhood on $9 for every 8 hour shift. Not that it makes a huge difference, but it...

hoaxzine:
By: Melissa Sontag Broudo and Penelope Saunders October 27, 2011
In the last four weeks, many have been wondering what has driven people to Occupy Wall Street (OWS) and bring attention to the economic situation that has developed in our country. Critics have argued that so many issues are being discussed and that so many disparate groups have joined forces, that the occupation...

Write For the Stripper Army
We want to write a Manifesta by strippers everywhere who impress us with their fearless occupations of marginalized spaces, subversive lifestyles, radical relationships, and anti authoritarian ways. A guide for those in the club who have felt trapped in survival mode, overburdened, and underrepresented for too long. We want this to be a workbook of mental emanicpation, to flesh out the tiny jump...

Glitter Bombs
As a queer sex worker, the spreading of my glitter has been an act of personal and political emancipation, and a celebration of my own strangeness. As a baby stripper I covered myself in glitter. I couldn’t get enough on myself. ...

I like a lot of things about this quote, I definitely feel like taking care of each other is something that’s really undervalued. I still think that self-care and spending time alone is really important,...

Support the Stella house, pay attention & do everything you can NOT to support the global trafficking of people. It is a criminal system fuel by demand much like the drug trade, we allow these atrocities to occur by ignoring this reality, or worse by participating and purchasing the time of a stolen woman or child. Kidnapping, torturing, and enslaving vulnerable people is worse than...
